ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF NURSING (ADON)--RN OR LPN

Prior experience in long term care facility preferred.

The Assistant Director of Nursing will provide assistance to the Director of Nursing in the planning, implementation, direction and evaluation of operations pertaining to the nursing services department as well as support and education for the Nursing Staff. They will also help maintain a collaborative and efficient workplace with high attention to quality standards.

The successful candidate will possess:

3-5 years of nursing management experience, preferably in long-term care
outstanding clinical assessment/judgement skills
wound care management experience (highly desired)
excellent communication and listening skills
high organization standards
experience with state survey process
knowledge of nursing home regulations
ability to lead and develop nursing staff members
collaborative and positive team mindset
