Willis-Knighton Behavioral Medicine is in search of a Technician/Nursing Assistant to join our team. The Nursing Assistant is responsible for administering direct patient care and performing any other duties deemed necessary to ensure optimal patient care and physician service, under the direction and supervision of the professional nurse. Some of the job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: assisting with ambulation, dressing and undressing patients, changing bed linen, assisting with diet, vital signs, compresses, preoperative and postoperative care, observing patient's condition and reports immediately, any untoward signs, symptoms or unusual occurrences, and maintaining current documentation of patient's status on treatment sheet and gives report to nurse. The applicant is required to be a high school graduate and is preferred for the applicant to have previous experience.
