What does the Licensed Nurse do? (including but not limited to) As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you are responsible for providing basic patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, including taking vital signs, administering medications, preparing patients for exams, collecting specimens, assisting with procedures, educating patients on self-care, and documenting patient information thoroughly; all while maintaining clear communication with the healthcare team and patients. Minimum of 1 year experience as an LVN, experience in behavioral health care preferred Certification in Basic Life Support Certification in non-violent crisis intervention
