Critical Agency Role Available-Weekday On Call Caregiver

Embark Care is seeking a highly reliable, flexible, and dedicated On-Call Caregiver to support urgent and last-minute staffing needs. This position is essential to our agency’s operations, and we are looking for someone who truly understands the importance of being dependable and ready to step in at any moment.

Embark Care will provide a company vehicle and gas card to complete all on-call assignments.


Pay & Incentives

  • $420/week guaranteed (minimum 30 hours paid even if not dispatched)

  • $14/hr for hourly shifts

  • $10/hr for live-in shifts

  • Additional hours over 30 paid at hourly rate

  • If you do not respond to an on-call assignment or choose to refuse a shift, your on-call status will be reevaluated, and you will forfeit the weekly incentive guarantee. Pay for that week will be limited to the standard hourly rate for completed service hours only.

Schedule Requirements

On-call Caregiver schedule runs from Monday 8 AM – Friday 8 PM
You must have full availability during this window.


Assignments may include:

  • Last minute 1-hour shifts

  • Immediate live-in shifts

  • Urgent fill-ins

  • Supervisory wellness visits

  • Office support tasks

This role is only for candidates who can reliably answer and respond within 15 minutes and report promptly when needed.


Job Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care, homemaking, and companionship services

  • Complete wellness/supervisory visits as assigned

  • Assist with office tasks if needed

  • Pick up or drop off paperwork to clients

  • Safely operate the company vehicle and follow all agency policies


Important Requirements

  • Must be extremely reliable and punctual

  • Must be comfortable with sudden schedule changes

  • Must be able to accept any assignment within the Mon–Fri window

  • Must have caregiving experience

  • Must pass background check, have verifiable experience and valid drivers license and auto insurance.
