Chapel View Apartments, a Cassia community, is hiring a Caregiver to join our team in Hopkins, MN.
As a Caregiver at Chapel View Apartments, you will provide each resident with routine daily nursing care and services following guidelines and regulations. You will work beside other CNAs & Nurses to provide cares for our residents Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as showering/bathing, shampooing of hair and medication administration while promoting dignity, independence and well-being.

Position Type: Part-Time, benefits eligible position working a varying schedule

Shifts Available:
Nights 10:45 PM - 6:45 AM (Every Friday & Every other weekend Saturday and Sunday)
Days (Every other Saturday and Sunday and every Friday)
Days (Tuesdays and Fridays to do showers)

Wage Range: $19 to $21 / hour depending on experience

Caregiver Responsibilities:

  • Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities.
  • Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per individualized care plan.
  • Take and record temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse and respiration as instructed. Report changes or concerns to the RN.
  • Document services performed on computerized charting system.
  • Observe resident and report any changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, reaction, and appetite, to the supervisor.
  • Assist the resident with personal care which may include the following: shampooing of hair, assist with showering/ bathing, fingernail and foot care, and medication administration.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed.
Caregiver Qualifications: 
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Attendant (PCA) experience preferred, but not required. We will train you!
  • A passion for geriatric care. 
  • Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.
  • Ability to work a consistent work schedule.
  • Must be 18 years or older.

A member of the interdependent team led by a designated RN, is accountable to perform patient care duties and activities for a group of patients. Performs such care as: vital sign checks, bladder scanning, blood sugar testing, am bulates with patients, transfers, helps patient eat, showers and bathes patients, provides incontinence care, repositioning of patients, & helps with oral cares. Documentation of cares provided and r eports patient care data and progress of outcomes to designated RN.
