Cardiology APP with Pima Heart and Vascular in Tucson, AZ- Outpatient Clinic Setting

Serving the community for 40 years, PIMA Heart and Vascular is the largest independent cardiovascular practice in Arizona and one of the largest independent practices in the country, known for comprehensive cardiovascular services, high-quality outcomes, and strong operational capabilities. Our board-certified and board-eligible physicians specialize in internal medicine, general, interventional, and structural cardiology, electrophysiology, cardiothoracic surgery, and vascular surgery.

The Cardiology APP will work independently to deliver competent medical care to an age specific population including adults and geriatric patients primarily in outpatient clinic and alongside an Interventional Cardiologist. This position will complete admission workups and consultations, function as the on-site liaison to directly receive phone calls from staff and provide orders for routine and urgent medical care needs, transfer, or discharge as appropriate and communicate directly with the physician.

Experience Requirements:

  • FNP, PA or ACNP with Cardiology Experience preferred but not required
  • New Grads with Cardiology Experience as RN are encouraged to apply
  • NP Board Certification
  • Active AZ license or willing to apply

The Cardiology APP will maintain the scope of practice to be consistent with the policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines governed by the Arizona Board of Nursing, the Arizona Medical Board, and any other federal or state regulatory agencies, as well as the policies and procedures of PIMA. Understands the needs of the organization and supports the mission, values, and management of PIMA and USHV.
