CDU (Clinical Decision Unit) is offering an opportunity for Registered Nurses who are interested in working 8-hour shifts. Would you like to work 7 shifts on and be off 7 shifts? Would you like to work 56 hours and be paid for 72 and still be considered full-time? If you are ready for a fast-paced unit, with a variety of med/surg/telemetry patients, this is the floor for you. CDU has 8 beds and is located on 4 West. The nurse to patient ratio is 1:4, with a nursing assistant as support staff. We are looking for energetic, motivated, organized Registered Nurses with exceptional critical thinking skills. Communication and collaboration with physicians and specific documentation requirements occur on this unit. Patient education is a big focus. Must be flexible and open to new ideas/changes. The Dialysis Hospital Services Nurse (Acute RN) provides specialized dialysis, renal nursing care, and if contractually required, plasmapheresis treatments in our East Shreveport acute hemodialysis unit.
