Horas y turnos disponibles:

Horas esperadas: 20–40 horas por semana.

Turnos:

  • Diurnos y vespertinos (día y tarde).
  • Entre semana.
  • Fines de semana.

Responsabilidades y Funciones

Cuidado personal:

Asistir en actividades de la vida diaria, incluyendo:

  • Higiene personal (uso de baño o bacinilla, baño, cuidado bucal, afeitado, cuidado de piel y cabello).
  • Movilización y transferencias.
  • Alimentación.
  • Vestido y aseo personal.

Asistencia en el hogar y acompañamiento:

  • Preparación de comidas y refrigerios según instrucciones.
  • Acompañamiento del cliente en diligencias o citas médicas.

Actividades de limpieza ligera, como:

  • Aspirar, quitar polvo, barrer o trapear.
  • Lavar platos.
  • Cambiar sábanas y lavar ropa.
  • Limpiar el baño.

Apoyo adicional al cliente:

  • Recordatorios de medicamentos.
  • Motivación y apoyo en ejercicios.
  • Comprensión y manejo básico del cuidado de personas con demencia.
  • Compañía y apoyo emocional.

 

Requisitos y Habilidades:

  • Capacidad para leer y escribir en inglés según lo requiera el puesto.
  • Tener 18 años o más.
  • Contar con licencia de conducir vigente y seguro de automóvil actual.
  • Certificación CPR presencial y vigente.
  • Antecedentes aprobados bajo el sistema de Level II Fingerprint para el sector salud.
  • Experiencia mínima de 1 año como cuidador/a o asistente de salud en el hogar (preferida).
  • Aprobar dos exámenes en ingles con preguntas de falso o verdadero, o contar con una Licencia de CNA.
