Provide appropriate management for individuals in need of reproductive related services, including contraception, infertility, and sexually transmitted infection treatment. Serves as a resource for medical and procedural abortion services. Conducts post-abortion follow-up examination with recognition of normal and abnormal findings and refers or collaborates with physician as appropriate. Recognizes ethical, legal, and professional issues inherent in providing care to individuals throughout the life cycle. Additional assignments based on training and competency.
