We’re hiring an RN On-Call – a compassionate and skilled nurse who will provide after-hours support, ensuring timely assessments and continuity of care for hospice patients and families. This role is essential to delivering dignified, responsive care during critical moments.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Perform comprehensive nursing evaluations and after-hours assessments for patients with changes in condition
- Assess for signs and symptoms of discomfort, including pain, and take prompt, appropriate action
- Initiate and update plans of care as needed; provide nursing follow-up and caregiver instruction
- Submit accurate documentation within 24 hours of visits
- Coordinate services across settings to ensure quality and appropriateness of care
- Follow approved care plans, modify as needed, and communicate with physicians when appropriate
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with a valid state license
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required
- Hospice experience preferred, but not required
- Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Must clear a criminal background check, physical, and drug screening
- Flexibility to work outside regular hours based on business needs
- Must be comfortable working in environments with animals and pets.

Shift Schedule: PRN (Per Diem), variable days, required to work at least 1 or 2 weekends per month (10:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
Anticipated pay range: $32 USD - $40 USD
