A full-time Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Columbia, MD, supporting a K-12 school for the blind. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide specialized nursing care within an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver nursing assessments and interventions tailored to students aged K-12
  • Manage health plans and medications in coordination with school staff and healthcare providers
  • Respond promptly to health emergencies and provide first aid as needed
  • Maintain accurate health records and documentation
  • Collaborate with educators and support services to ensure a safe learning environment

Qualifications:

  • Current Maryland RN licensure required
  • Experience in school nursing or pediatric care preferred
  • Ability to safely push and pull over 100 pounds and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Work Schedule:

  • Full-time, 35 evening hours Monday through Thursday (3pm-11pm)
  • Friday hours from 12:45pm to 3:45pm
  • Five days per week
