About the Role:

As a Full-Time State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) in a Hospital-Based Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients during their recovery process. Your primary responsibility will be to assist patients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to implement care plans and monitor patient progress. This position requires a compassionate approach, as you will be interacting with patients and their families, providing emotional support and education. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to enhancing the overall patient experience and promoting a positive healing environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

Current State Tested Nursing Assistant certification.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic life support (BLS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or hospital setting.
Knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Additional certifications in geriatric care or rehabilitation.

Responsibilities:

Assist patients with personal hygiene, grooming, and daily living activities.
Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to nursing staff.
Support patients in mobility and physical therapy exercises as directed.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, adhering to infection control protocols.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.
