Responsibilities

The Licensed Practical Nurse, under the supervision of the RN, utilizes the knowledge basis of nursing education and experience in order to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to the hospital policies, procedures and protocols.  The LPN organizes care delivery by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, evaluating and communicating with all necessary Providers/Leaders on an ongoing basis.


Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current LPN licensure in the state of Idaho.
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
