We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Home Health team. to assume responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care. The Registered Nurse (RN) demonstrates the ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner under the direction of the Director of Clinical Services.

Responsibilities

  • Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.

  • Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.

  • Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

  • Document the patient’s plan of care using identified nursing diagnoses, expected patient outcomes, and selected nursing interventions.

  • Performs interventions according to identified priorities, plan of care, and the hospital policies and patient care outcome standard.

  • Revises the plan of care according to evaluation, changes in medical plan of care, and effective/ineffective nursing interventions.

  • Uses clinical judgment in evaluation activities to meet patient care needs of an assigned unit/floor including establishing priorities.

  • Other Registered Nurse (RN) duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state in which the nurse practices.

  • Current Health Certificate (per facility Registered Nurse (RN) contract or state regulation).

  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.

  • Current BLS card.

  • One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred.

Department Operating Room Job Summary The Registered Nurse in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) assumes responsibility for prescribing, delegating and coordinating nursing care to patients in the cardiovascular and cardiothoracic perioperative environment, including interventions that assist the patient in a conscious or unconscious state. The RN identifies physiologic, psychological, and sociologic needs of the patient, develops and implements an individualized plan of care, coordinates interventions and evaluates outcomes of the patient’s perioperative experience. The RN is legally accountable and responsible for patient care, whether accomplished personally or by another perioperative team member. The RN will be competent to provide patient care following standards set forth in the Florida Nurse Practice Act, SMH, and the department. Salary Details: Hourly rate is determined by years of worked experience as an RN, education level, and internal equity within organization. Minimum rate starting at $39.35, max of salary range is $61.70. In addition to hourly rate, if candidate holds an approved certification position qualifies for certification pay of $1.50. *Preference is for candidate to have previous CVOR RN experience* *Requires signing a 2 year agreement to commit to CVOR training* Shift: Monday thru Friday, 10 hour shifts, 0615 – 1645, with call Required Qualifications - Require graduate of an accredited school of nursing or a diploma program.
