Baptist Health is looking to add a Medical Assistant in our Primary Care Department at Baptist Primary Care Regency in Jacksonville, Florida. This opening is a full-time opportunity.

This position is for the Baptist Primary Care Regency office. This position requires floating between front office, back office and telephone triage/scheduling. The experienced candidate will perform back office Medical Assistant duties, such as rooming patients, assisting provider and obtaining vitals, as well as front office and phone triage/scheduling. Experience in phone triage, scheduling, and pediatric experience is a plus but not required.

As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for:

Provides nursing assistance to physician
Obtains vital signs
Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit
Maintains medical documentation
Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician
Processes prescription requests and referrals
