Offering high quality OB care and Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU) programs.

Responsible for directing and coordinating all nursing care for Mother and baby patients based on established clinical nursing practices standards.

Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.

Contributes to the provision of quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrates positive outcomes in patient care.

What qualifications you will need:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.

Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse.

BLS – Health Care provider, ACLS and NRP.

Experience in women’s health or mom baby preferred.

What you will do in this role: Maintaining an orderly, efficient, and timely flow of patients. Greeting patients and preparing them for physician’s examination. Providing general nursing care to patients as necessary for office treatment. Screening patients for appropriate information. Instructing patients in collection of samples and tests. Arranging for patient testing and admissions. Checking rooms daily for necessary supplies. Responding to and referring incoming telephone calls. Instructing patients and family regarding medications and treatment instructions. Maintaining and reviewing patients’ records and other pertinent information. Posting tests and examination results. Maintaining patient confidentially. Administering medications in accordance with physician orders. Maintaining current knowledge to assure a safe working environment and demonstrating practical application of all policies and procedures relative to safety and infection control. Utilizing universal precautions in any potential contact with patient body fluids or used patient supplies that may be contaminated with patient body fluids. Projecting a positive image of the facility in all interactions and supporting effective team functioning.
