Responsibilities

·       Develop and implement the written staffing plan that reflects the needs of the nursing department

·       Performs rounds to monitor and evaluate the quality of nursing care

·       Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, family members, staff, and medical team

·       Work in partnership with the Administrator to ensure quality, person-centered care

·       Develop, manage, and evaluate department policies and procedures by current rules and regulations 

Requirements:

  • Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in RI

  • Provide oversight and direction to clinical team

  • Make rounds with physicians, as necessary

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, family members, staff and medical team

  • Other special projects and duties, as assigned

  • Nursing degree from an accredited college or university preferred

  • Three (3) years or more years of experience as a manager/Director of Nursing in a nursing care center, hospital or other related health care center

  • Must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices

  • Primary series of COVID vaccination is required


Range: $120k- 200k / per year
