JOB TITLE: Nurse Practitioner
GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our practice and play a vital role in delivering high-quality vascular care to our patients. In this position, you will work closely with our Vascular Care Team and managing partners, gaining valuable hands-on experience in our ambulatory surgery center with a primary focus on PAD and GAE. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to grow within a collaborative, patient-centered environment. All responsibilities must be carried out in a confidential, professional, and personable manner. The individual in this role should also be able to provide sole staff support for the office when needed.
The ideal candidate will bring vascular knowledge—particularly in PAD and GAE—is hardworking, eager to learn, dependable, and capable of multitasking and leading effectively.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduate of an Advanced Practice Nursing program required, and non-restricted DEA for the state of TX.
- ACLS certification preferred.
- 3-5 years' work experience required. Experience with vascular surgery is preferable.
- Able to read; write legibly; speak in English, with professional quality; use computer and software programs necessary to the position; troubleshoot and calibrate patient care equipment.
- Able to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone; think critically; work independently with minimal supervision; perform basic math functions; manage multiple assignments effectively; work well under pressure; problem solve; organize and prioritize workload; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail.
- Able to perform any other tasks as assigned.
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus!
