Job Description
The Licensed Practical Nurse in the Long-Term Care Unit provides skilled and intermediate resident care. The Licensed Practical Nurse provides resident care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures, state and federal laws, and Joint Commission standards.
Education
Graduate of a school of nursing is required.
Experience
One year of long-term care experience is preferred.
New graduates will be considered.
Certification & Licensure
LPN Nursing licensure in the state of West Virginia is required.
BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) - American Heart ‘Healthcare Provider’ (HCP) - AHA approved is required. New hires must have American Heart Association (AHA) appropriate certification prior to completion of orientation.
