Shift Options:

  • Days: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Evenings: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (includes differential pay)
  • Nights: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (includes differential pay)

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver basic nursing care
  • Plan and implement priorities for nursing action according to patient’s needs
  • Communicate and collaborate with other nurses
  • Document patient care

Requirements:

  • Graduate of accredited nursing program
  • Current Massachusetts nursing license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
  • CPR/BLS/AED and IV certification required

Review patient records daily to assure accuracy and completeness. Document comprehensive and complete nursing notes. Visit each resident daily to evaluate resident needs. Maintain accurate awareness of residents on alert list. Document and report any unusual or significant findings; contact the physician when necessary. Administer medication according to procedure. Maintain an accurate and safe control of all drugs for which he/she is responsible. Initiate any and all emergency procedures as necessary. Demonstrate correct safety techniques. Respects and takes care of facility equipment and not wasteful of supplies. Contributes to effective communication and pleasant working conditions.
