Job Summary:

At Black Hills Caregiving, we are committed to providing compassionate and personalized care to our clients in the comfort of their own homes. As an In Home Caregiver, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to our clients, enhancing their overall well-being and quality of life.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one care and support to clients in their homes, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

  • Assist with medication reminders

  • Prepare meals and snacks, and assist with light housekeeping and laundry

  • Encourage and facilitate socialization and community involvement for clients

  • Transport to appointments (if necessary)

  • Assist with grocery shopping

  • Companion care (cards, board games, etc.)

Requirements:

  • 0 years of experience in caregiving or a related field (training provided)

  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, bend, and move equipment as needed

  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license

  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to caregiving

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to attendance and scheduling
