  • Employee has the willingness and ability to perform additional duties and responsibilities in different areas of the department on an as-needed basis or as determined by management.
  • Maintains good attendance and punctuality.
  • Consistently projects positive professional image through appearance and behavior.
  • Completes all required intra-operative documentation, i.e., operative record, charge sheets, implant records, pathology slips, etc., per policy and procedure. Documents any unusual occurrence on an incident trending report.
  • Assists with application to tourniquet.
  • Assist with the positioning, prepping and draping of the patient or perform these independently.

Job Requirements

Required

  • Graduate of an accredited RN program
  • 2 years Perioperative Practice experience upon hire
  • Registered Nurse: CA RN
  • Basic Life Support - CPR BLS within 30 Days 
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support, ACLS within 30 Days
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 90 Days


Preferred

  • Bachelors Of Science Nursing BSN
