The Advanced Registerd Nurse Practitioner is responsible for performing comprehensive medical evaulations including ordering and the interpretation of laboratory studies and diagnostic tests for pre-surgical patients. The ARNP is responsible evaluation, diagnosis and/or treatment of acute and chronic conditions. Our focus is to maximize the patient's medical condition prior to surgery and act as a bridge between our patients and their primary care physician. Patient education regarding pre-operative instructions, various anesthesia techniques, pre-operative processes and post operative pain management. Clinic and Department based activities which contribute to a positive, productive and professional work environment are performed.
Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: A minimum of a Master's degree in advanced nursing practice is required.
Motor Vehicle Operator Designation: None provided
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current and clear license as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the State of Florida. Certification in CPR and ACLS preferred.
