🩺 About the Role: 
This position offers a higher level of clinical care than typically found in post-acute or residential settings. Our facility delivers hospital-level services that are comparable to those provided on a medical-surgical unit. Our highly skilled interdisciplinary team is equipped to manage a wide range of complex medical needs, including intravenous therapy, surgical and wound care, tracheostomy management, mobility assistance, and the comprehensive oversight of lines, tubes, and drains. 

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care within a healing environment focused on optimal recovery. 

 

Position Highlights at a Glance: 

 

  • Average Patient Length of Stay: 10–14 days 

  • Conditions: Stroke, brain & spinal cord injuries, cardiac, ortho, complex medical, and more 

  • Team Approach: Work closely with PT/OT/ST, physicians, case managers, respiratory therapy & more 

  • Advanced Care: IVs, trachs, wound care, mobility support, lines, tubes, and drains 

  • 12-hour shifts, 3 days/week + rotating weekends/holidays (with added pay) 

 

✔️ What You’ll Need: 

  • RN License (State of TX) 

  • CPR required | ACLS & BLS preferred 

  • 1+ year of RN experience preferred (Acute care a plus) 

  • CRRN preferred

Schedule: Full Time – Days & Nights Available - 36 hours per week Unit Summary STC 3 is a 35-bed monitored hospital unit that cares for a unique population of patients ranging from young adults to geriatrics. Our diverse patient population includes complex urology patients, pulmonary hypertension patients, kidney and pancreas transplant patients, peritoneal dialysis patients, and radioactive implant cases. STC 3 is the only unit in the hospital that performs peritoneal dialysis. STC 3 is the only floor equipped with lead-lined rooms to care for patients receiving radioactive therapies in the inpatient setting.
