  • Penn Medicine Princeton Health (PMPH) is seeking a full-time nurse manager to work the day shift within Princeton House Behavioral Health (PHBH). The nurse manager will be overseeing Wing 6 (Voluntary Psych/Dual diagnosis for psych) with 28 beds.

  • Location: Princeton House Behavioral Health (905 Herrontown Road Princeton NJ). 

 

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Reports to the AVP Behavioral Health Nursing and closely collaborates with PHBH Nurse Leaders (NMs, supervisors).
  • Manages nursing staff (RNs and ancillary personnel) on a 28-bed inpatient psychiatric unit with fiscal accountability.
  • Assures 24-hour quality care for patients on their unit; Assures compliance with policies, procedures, regulation; maintains a therapeutic treatment environment
  • Assumes supervisory coverage during the day, one week each month, for the facility.
  • Responsible for interviewing and hiring staff for the unit and completes introductory and annual staff performance appraisals.


Scheduling Requirements:

  • 5 days a week, day shift (7am-3pm)
  • Every other weekend requirement

What We Require for this Role:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Master’s degree or pursuing Master’s degree required, healthcare related field preferred.

 

Related Work Experience

  • Psychiatric experience required.
  • Management experience required.

 

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT

  • Psychiatric/Addiction certification preferred.
  • Active RN NJ license required.

    Salary Range:

    $111,235.49 - $173,928.77/Annually based on 40 hours per week
