Our Postpartum unit at UW Medical Center-Montlake is looking for a experienced nurse interested in joining our postpartum team.

OUR POSTPARTUM UNIT
- Family-centered focus
- 18 postpartum mother/baby rooms
- Cares for medically complex and high-risk postpartum patients
OUR POSTPARTUM NURSES
- Provide the highest-level of care for our patients by working with Obstetric, Maternal Fetal Medicine and Pediatric/Newborn providers who are in-house and accessible around the clock.
- Have access to certified lactation consultants 7-days per week.
- Collaborate with dedicated perinatal social workers for care coordination, as needed.
- Adhere to AWHONN staffing standards.
Nurse patient ratios are assigned by acuity
Ratios can be anywhere from 1:3-1:6 (mother = 1 patient, Baby = 1 patient).

REQUITEMENTS
- Have or obtain a WA state license to practice as an RN or MSL
- Graduated from an accredited school of nursing
- One of more years of postpartum experience
- BLS

$165,576.00 annual
Other Compensation
$10,000 Sign on Bonus/Relocation BSN premium $1.00/hr. Certification premium $1.25/hr. Night shift differential $4.50/hr. Weekend shift differential $4.00/hr. Overtime pay
