Certified Medical Assistant

- Sign-On for Eligible New Hires**
Work hours: Full-time; 40 hours weekly; Monday - Friday (830am-5pm)
Family Care Clinic Highlights
- No Weekends
- Collaborative Work Environment
- Opportunity for yearly bonuses
- High School Diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)
- CMA - Current Medical Assistant Certification (REQUIRED)
- 1 year of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant (PREFERRED)
- ACLS or BCLS upon hire (PREFERRED)
- Delivers care to patients utilizing the Certified Medical Assistant Process
- Conducts patient check out, surgery scheduling and post operative calls as primary function of position
- Communicates with patient regarding test results and plan of care by phone or mail as directed by physician
- Provides for patient safety and protection of patient privacy rights
- May work in the front office as needed
- May perform other duties as assigned by practice manager, more senior staff, or as requested by healthcare provider(s)
