Position Summary
The Staff Caregiver is a key member of our care team who provides reliable support for last-minute open shifts and contributes to overall office operations. This salaried position requires full availability from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM each day. The Staff Caregiver is engaged to wait during this time, meaning they must remain ready and available to accept immediate assignments as needed.
At 7:00 AM, the Staff Caregiver must be prepared to be dispatched to any open client shift. If no shift assignment has been made by 9:00 AM, the Staff Caregiver will report to the office to assist with administrative and operational support tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Client Care Support

Remain available from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM to accept same-day, last-minute client care shifts.

Provide high-quality, compassionate care to clients in accordance with care plans and agency standards.

Maintain flexibility in caring for clients with varying needs, conditions, and home environments.
Office Support Duties (when not assigned to a shift)

Report to the office by 9:00 AM if not dispatched to a client.

Answer phones and assist with incoming calls.

Complete filing, copying, scanning, and other basic administrative tasks.

Assist with general office organization and support as needed.
Field & Operations Support

Conduct quality review visits with clients as assigned.

Complete supervisory visits with caregivers in the field.

Run errands for the office, such as delivering supplies or picking up materials.

Support care management operational needs that arise during the day.
Qualifications
-
Previous caregiving experience required; CNA or similar certification preferred.

Strong reliability, punctuality, and ability to adapt quickly to schedule changes.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to maintain professionalism in both client homes and office environments.

Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and proof of insurance required.
Physical Requirements

Ability to lift, transfer, and assist clients as needed.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform household tasks.

Ability to drive between client homes and office locations throughout the day.
Work Environment
This position requires flexibility and willingness to support both field and office operations. The Staff Caregiver must be comfortable switching between caregiving duties and administrative responsibilities as the daily schedule requires.
