LPN Full-time

A License nurse is a professional nurse responsible for delivery of patient care. The Endoscopy Technician LPN will be responsible for the care and maintenance of all equipment, assisting the physician during the procedure, ordering and inventorying supplies and assisting the Registered Nurse in the admitting, recovery, and discharge process.

 Current GA LPN license; ACLS and PALS within one year.  Previous experience preferred.

 

Provides best possible nursing care. 

Maintains acceptable standards of patient care. 

Creates a working climate that provides growth and job satisfaction of personnel. 

Accurately and promptly implements physicians’ orders. 

Administers medication and IV solutions skillfully and correctly consistent to policy 

Maintains the standards of accurate and complete recording and reporting 

Arranges to have needed supplies and equipment on hand

Assist physician and nurses during procedures and provide technical assistance for procedures.

Collect specimens from patients during procedures, and then deliver them to the appropriate area.

Maintain a sterile field to support physicians and nurses during procedures

Assist with patient intake, transport and paperwork

Assist with patient education

Maintain supply inventory, rotate stock, and restock procedural rooms

Performs any and all other job duties as assigned by the supervisor

This role does require call
