A part-time Registered Nurse (RN) position is available to provide specialized nursing care for high school students with severe medical needs in Nashua, NH. This contract role spans from December 1, 2025, to June 19, 2026, with an expected commitment of approximately 15 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to students during school and community activities.
  • Monitor and manage complex medical conditions, including respiratory care, seizure management, and medication administration.
  • Assist with lifting, mobility support, and tube feeding as required.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of students throughout the school day and during off-site activities.

Caseload Details:

  • Student 1: A 20-year-old high school student with frequent seizures requiring supervision during community activities (approximately 11 am - 2 pm, Monday through Friday).
  • Student 2: High school student with complex medical needs including wheelchair use, respiratory management, deep suction, oxygen monitoring, tube feeding, medication administration, and total care support. Days required are Monday and Friday from around 6:30 am to 2:30 pm. Transportation via bus to and from school is necessary, with parking at the student's home.

Qualifications:

  • Current, active RN license.
  • Experience in school nursing and managing severe medical needs in pediatric or adolescent populations.
  • Proficiency in respiratory care, seizure response, medication administration, and mobility assistance.
  • Ability to work the specified hours and carry the described caseloads without exception.
  • Reliable transportation arrangement for assigned duties.
