The hourly rate for this position is $145.82/hour This is a Salaried position.


Overview

POSITION SUMMARY: ​The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist completes preopperative patient assesments and prepares and maintains necessary tools and resources for procedures. Responsible for evaluation of anesthetic agents used for patients before, during, and after procedures. Actively observe and assess patients throughout the course of procedures and ensures safe patient emergence from anesthetic. Performs supplemental anesthesia duties in situations as needed and directed by anesthesiologist.

 

JOB SPECIFICS:

 
  • Saint James -John W. Albrecht Medical Center has 3 ORs and 2 Procedure Rooms

  • We have a mix of GI, Gen Surg, Ortho, and Podiatry. We also perform simple gyne and cataracts once a month.

  • Our typical volume depends on the day. GI days are typically higher volume than Ortho/Gen Surg days.

  • Overall, we average about 7-12 cases/day.

  • Regional experience is preferred but our highly skilled teams will train you.

Description The Nurse Anesthetist administers anesthesia for surgical, obstetrical, and other medical procedures for all age groups – neonates, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients following medically approved techniques under the professional direction of an anesthesiologist or surgeon. Has full access to patient health information. Requirements Current Certification as a Nurse Anesthetist by the AANA Council on Certification or eligible for certification Current Registered Nurse Licensure in Current Verification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist by the Board of Nursing Member of the AANA (optional) Current BCLS, ACLS, PALS and NALS certification Current Credentials / Reappointment per IHS Bylaws Successful completion of hospital and unit-specific orientation Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for position to include walking, kneeling, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching and sitting for extended periods of time. This Medicare-certified, Joint Commission–accredited surgery center specializes in outpatient digestive procedures in a calm, welcoming environment. With four fully equipped procedure rooms and a dedicated team of GI specialists, they make everything from colonoscopies to advanced treatments feel easier. CRNA (Part Time ) needed to join our team! Arizona Digestive Institute (ADI) is an established gastroenterology endoscopy center located in Tucson, AZ. 4 procedure rooms - consistent volume! Monday to Friday DAY shifts! Typical schedule 0730-1600 OFF on weekends or holidays! NO call required! Competitive pay and benefits! Job summary: Administers anesthetic care for the purpose of facilitating diagnostic, therapeutic and surgical procedures. Credentialing process typically 2-3 months. Job Responsibilities: Work with American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) Category 1-3 patients only, requiring only Monitored Anesthesia Care (MAC) and NO general anesthesia. Administer Propofol sedation for low risk, standard outpatient gastrointestinal procedures. Performs and documents a pre-anesthetic assessment and evaluation of the patient. Develops and implements an anesthetic plan of care, including monitoring modalities and post-anesthesia follow-up evaluation and care. Selects, obtains and administers the anesthetic plan of care, including induction, maintenance and emergence phase anesthesia.
