10 plus years of Medical Assistant experience or related experience may be substituted for High School Diploma or equivalent.

One to two years of formal medical assistant or nurse aide training preferred.

Substitution: Formal medical assistant or nursing aide training may be substituted with six months current full time experience in the clinical setting as a Medical Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, or CNA.
