Fulltime Staff Development Coordinator/Infection Prevention available at Skilled Nursing Facility in Providence, RI area!

Schedule: Monday through Friday dayshift with rotating weekends on-call

Responsibilities

The SDC will plan, develop, direct, evaluate, and coordinate education and on-the-job training programs.
Incorporate commercially produced instruction material and training aids into existing in-service programs as deemed necessary.
Manage infection control for disease outbreaks and pertinent PPE usage
Provide leadership in formulating the goals and objectives of the in-service educational programs of this Center.
Develop, evaluate, and control the quality of in-service educational programs in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Secure, develop, and maintain records, reports, instructional manuals, reference materials, etc, pertinent to in-service educational programs.

Qualifications

A current, unencumbered active license to practice as an RN in the state of Rhode Island
Associate's degree required
Minimum One (1) year experience in a nursing care facility
Primary series of the COVID-19 vaccine required
