Full and Part-time - All Shifts Available

The LPN or RN will provide direct nursing care to the residents and will perform the day-to-day nursing activities in accordance with current federal, state and local standards governing the facility, and as directed by the Director of Nursing Services, Assistant Director of Nursing Services and Administrator, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.

Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing and meet all applicable federal and state licensure requirements.
Must speak and understand English. - Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures and laws, regulations and guidelines governing long-term care.
Positive attitude toward the elderly.

The Opportunity The Licensed Caregiver – LPN is part of the Health & Wellness Team responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents under the supervision of registered nurses and healthcare professionals. What You’ll Do Helping residents with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and dressing Supporting residents with medication. Repositioning residents in bed and escorting them around the community Toileting, incontinent care Take vital signs, such as blood pressure, heart rate and pulse Observe and report on residents’ health, escalating any problems efficiently and effectively Detail daily reports to Nurse, or designated charge person, at end of shift Provide emotional support and serve as a source of comfort for residents and their loved ones Recognize abnormal changes in body functioning and report to a supervisor Perform nursing assessments, including vital signs monitoring, physical examinations, and health status evaluations, to identify and address resident needs promptly. Provide wound care and other nursing interventions as directed by the registered nurse or healthcare provider, following applicable state regulations, established protocols and infection control practices. Responsibilities include customer service, safety, resident care, and communication. What You’ll Bring POSITION REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS: Must be at least 18 years of age.
