Coordinator Admissions Licensed Practical Nurse

JOB SUMMARY:

Supports the Mission, Vision, and Values of Marwood. Make clinical judgments using independent and interdependent decision-making skills. Utilizes knowledge, clinical expertise, and established facility protocols to facilitate the resident admission process in a timely and efficient manner, in accordance with established policies and procedures.

In coordinating the admission process, it works closely and communicates with residents, family members, hospital personnel, Marwood Nursing & Rehab staff members, physicians, social services, and community organizations to ensure all aspects of the admission process including clinical and clerical aspects are completed in a mutually satisfactory manner.

Qualifications:

Nursing skills as defined in the laws governing the practice of nursing in Michigan.

High level of expertise in clinical assessment. Excellent interpersonal, communication,

negotiation, organizational, analytical and time management skills. Demonstrate proficient

customer Service skills; previous experience in customer service role,

and/or working with public. Must be able to communicate verballyand in writing, clearly, concisely, and accurately in English. Must demonstrate competence in computer literacy. Must have a current Licensed Practical in the
