As a direct support professional, you will:

  • Work directly with senior citizens in their own home, providing compassionate care and support.
  • Provide hands-on support at the clients' home, including individualized supports in transferring, bathing and grooming.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by following universal precautions and attention to infection control policies
  • Be an essential worker, available for holidays, and capable of working weekends.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Current state certification (or registration) as a nurse assistant as per state certification/registration requirements. CNA experience within the last two years. If it has been more than two years, you must complete another training and competency program before providing services. Must be able to successfully pass the competency program of the care center.
