Telemetry I/3200 is a 27 bed unit. Working on a telemetry floor presents the opportunity for all nurses to learn and understand how to identify, interpret and manage cardiac rhythms, as well as receiving continuing education on cardiac treatments, medications, and cardiac drips. In addition to cardiac patients, Telemetry I/3200 cares for pulmonary patients (pneumonia and COPD), gastrointestinal patients (gastrointestinal bleeds, small bowel obstructions), ICU step down patients (tracheostomy care, percutaneous endo-gastric tube management, total parenteral nutrition management, foley catheter management, wound care). We are seeking a strong candidate who will be supportive, communicative, and an excellent problem solver.

  • Pre-Employment Requirements:
    • We are a drug free facility. Passing a pre-employment drug screening is required.
  • Requirements:
    • Current Alabama RN License and ACLS/BLS certification required.
    • Must be able to take call, work day shift and night shift, and weekends if needed. Call will rotate with Manager.
    • Proven leadership and communication skills.
    • Must be flexible with a quick response, attention to detail, and also demonstrate critical thinking skills.
    • Demonstrate empathy, compassion, respect and self-awareness.
