To Make Referrals: Referrals can come from any designated crisis responder (DCR) within in the state of Washington. In adherence with established admission criteria, Telecare North Sound E&T staff will review pending referrals for medical care needs, safety, and security to ensure the appropriate means of service.

Who We Serve: Adults ages 18 and older diagnosed with a serious mental illness who reside primarily in the North Sound Region of Washington.

We Cannot Accept: Sexually violent offenders being detained pursuant to RCW 71.09 or high-risk sex offenders classified by the local law enforcement agencies, or any individual with any pending (not dismissed or otherwise disposed) felony charge shall be excluded from admission. Individuals released on a Temporary Release (TR) may be considered for admission on a case-by-case basis after consultation with the DCR.

Hours of Operation: Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

About the Program: We believe recovery starts from within, and that our job is to do whatever it takes to provide the support needed on your recovery journey. Our 16-bed secure facility includes a full staff of registered nurses, clinicians, peer specialists, and social workers on call 24 hours a day to provide wrap-around support. Upon arrival, a diverse clinical team will provide an individualized assessment and work with you every step of the way to support your goals in life.

What You Will Do to Change Lives

The Director of Nursing (DON) is responsible for activities and functions related to the administration of member care systems and member care in nursing areas and departments.

Shifts:

Full Time 40 hours per week | Salaried | 24-7 Program, hours worked are approx. Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm with weekend and evening flexibility

Expected starting wage range is $144,112.18 - $178,020.88. Full range is $211,929.59.  Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges.  The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed.  Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

What You Bring to the Table (Must Have) 

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and have four (4) years of experience with two (2) in psychiatric nursing and two (2) years in a supervisory capacity; OR a baccalaureate degree in nursing or a related field and two (2) years of experience and one (1) year in a supervisory capacity
  • At least one year of experience in nursing supervision within the last five (5) years
  • Master’s Degree in psychiatric nursing or related field with experience in administration; or
  • Baccalaureate degree in nursing or related field with experience in psychiatric nursing and two (2) years of experience in nursing administration; or
  • Four (4) years of experience in nursing administration or supervision and with experience in psychiatric nursing.
  • Current valid licensure as an RN in the state of operation
  • Valid and current driver’s license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver. 
  • Willingness to use the company vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups, etc.

Job Summary Responsible for promoting effective utilization and monitoring of healthcare resources. This position will assume an informal leadership role with the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal clinical, financial, and satisfaction outcomes. Essential Functions Acts as intermediary between the hospital and third party payors to ensure patients receive appropriate medically necessary inpatient psychiatric and medical services, so that the organization receives appropriate and optimal reimbursement.
