Job Summary North Cascades Health and Rehabilitation Center is looking for Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to perform a combination of duties in caring for residents in the center, consistent with the plan of care and established long-term care standards. Essential Functions: Answers signal lights Provides assistance with bathing, dressing, toiletry, and oral hygiene activities of daily living (ADLs). Serves and collects food trays and feeds residents requiring help. Transports residents, using wheelchair or wheeled cart, or assists residents to walk. Turns and re-positions residents, alone or with assistance Takes and records vital signs, food and fluid intake and output, and weight, as directed. Sign-on Bonus: $10,000 Job Summary: North Cascades Health and Rehabilitation Center is looking for a Director of Nursing (DON) to manage the day-to-day operations, activities and success of the resident care staff. Validates that the Nursing Department continues to develop and maintain high standards for excellence. Essential Functions: Develops and maintains a nursing service philosophy, objectives, standards of practice, policy and process manuals. Establishes systems for care planning, including assessments, plan of treatment, objectives and goals, evaluations and discharge planning. Responsible for recruiting, interviewing, hiring, disciplining, coaching, and conducting performance appraisals Demonstrates an understanding and knowledge of certification laws and requirements, survey requirements and Medicare program. Validates that reporting departments consistently meet state and federal requirements for long-term care facilities for licensure. Validates existence of a quality assurance program for nursing services and coordinates interdisciplinary quality assurance program. Directs the functions and activities of the ED in his/her absence. Education, Licensure, and Experience: Required: Current Registered Nursing license in Washington Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Preferred: Certification in Rehab Nursing, geriatrics, or psychiatric nursing Preferred: Minimum two years' experience as a nursing services supervisor in a long-term care.
