The Program Director will oversee daily program operations, provide staff supervision , ensure contract compliance , coordinate client care , and expand community outreach and partnerships . This role is ideal for an LMSW or LCSW with proven experience in program management , case management , and aging services . The ideal candidate must have direct experience working with NYC Department for the Aging (DFTA) programs — only applicants with prior DFTA experience will be considered . Key Responsibilities Leadership & Supervision: Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary team of Social Workers, Case Assistants, and interns through individual and group supervision. Program & Client Oversight: Coordinate client intakes, assessments, eligibility screenings, and referrals; ensure timely case follow-up and delivery of caregiver support services. Compliance & Reporting: Monitor program deliverables, outcomes, and documentation to meet all NYC Department for the Aging (DFTA) and funding requirements. Community Outreach & Education: Conduct presentations, represent the program at public events, and build relationships with community organizations to enhance caregiver awareness and engagement. Organizational Collaboration: Work closely with leadership to identify service gaps, support strategic initiatives, and ensure alignment with agency mission and goals. Qualifications Education: Master’s degree in Social Work (LMSW or LCSW required). Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in clinical social work, case management, or human services.
