Support Nursing Leadership: Assist the DON in planning, organizing, and directing nursing operations.

Supervision & Staffing: Oversee daily nursing activities and supervise nursing staff, ensuring appropriate coverage and skill mix.

Resident Care Oversight: Monitor the quality of care delivered to residents; support care plan development and implementation.

Staff Development: Assist in the orientation, training, evaluation, and ongoing education of nursing staff.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure nursing services comply with federal, state, and local regulations and facility policies.

Quality Improvement: Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) initiatives.

Infection Control: Assist with the development and monitoring of infection prevention and control protocols.

Incident Management: Help investigate incidents, accidents, or complaints; contribute to corrective actions.

Clinical Support: Provide direct nursing care in emergency or staffing shortage situations.

Communication: Maintain effective communication with residents, families, staff, and other departments.
Qualifications
-
Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin.

Education: Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).

Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility; leadership experience preferred.
