We are currently seeking a highly qualified and compassionate Director of Nursing to join our team and lead our dedicated nursing staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff to ensure the delivery of top-quality resident care.
  • Collaborate with other department heads to ensure coordinated care and a positive resident experience.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and maintain high clinical standards.
  • Monitor and assess resident care plans, medication administration, and clinical documentation.
  • Oversee staffing levels, and scheduling, and address any staffing concerns.
  • Provide guidance for professional growth and development among nursing staff.
  • Implement quality assurance programs and initiatives to enhance resident care.
  • Respond to resident and family feedback and concerns, aiming to achieve high levels of satisfaction.
  • Work with the administrative team to manage the nursing department's budget.
  • Optimize resource allocation for cost-effective and efficient operations.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Previous experience in a leadership role within a nursing home setting.
  • Strong clinical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Thorough knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance standards.
