Responsibilities:

Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff to ensure the delivery of top-quality resident care.
Collaborate with other department heads to ensure coordinated care and a positive resident experience.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and maintain high clinical standards.
Monitor and assess resident care plans, medication administration, and clinical documentation.
Oversee staffing levels, and scheduling, and address any staffing concerns.
Provide guidance for professional growth and development among nursing staff.
Implement quality assurance programs and initiatives to enhance resident care.
Respond to resident and family feedback and concerns, aiming to achieve high levels of satisfaction.
Work with the administrative team to manage the nursing department's budget.
Optimize resource allocation for cost-effective and efficient operations.

Qualifications:

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio.
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Previous experience in a leadership role within a nursing home setting.
Strong clinical and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Thorough knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance standards.
