Certified School Nurse (CSN) – Tinley Park, IL

Soliant Education is seeking a Certified School Nurse (CSN) to join a supportive district in Tinley Park, Illinois. This is a full-time, ASAP start through the end of the school year position. The hired CSN will serve as the only Certified School Nurse in the district, but will have the support of multiple Registered Nurses already in place.

Position Details

  • Schedule: Full-time, school hours

  • Dates: ASAP start – End of School Year (EOSY)

  • Setting: District-level support

  • Compensation: $45–$55 per hour (depending on experience), paid weekly

Responsibilities

  • Provide health assessments and screenings

  • Oversee compliance with state and district health requirements

  • Collaborate with RNs, teachers, administrators, and families to support student health

  • Manage health plans for students with chronic conditions

  • Serve as the lead health professional for the district

Requirements

  • Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Nurse endorsement

  • Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential

  • Experience in a school setting preferred
