Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Caregiver or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality care and support to our client(s) in a safe and nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals diagnosed with dementia and behavioral challenges, as well as proficiency using a Hoyer Lift and other mobility assistance equipment.
Responsibilities

Provide direct personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.

Assist clients with mobility and transfers using a Hoyer Lift or other assistive devices safely and correctly.

Monitor and document changes in client condition or behavior, and report concerns promptly to supervisors or healthcare providers.

Support clients with dementia and behavioral issues, utilizing patience, redirection, and de-escalation techniques.

Prepare meals, assist with feeding as needed, and encourage fluid and food intake.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for clients.

Engage clients in activities that promote emotional and physical well-being.

Follow care plans and medication reminders as directed.

Communicate effectively with family members, supervisors, and other care team members.
Qualifications

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license or equivalent caregiving experience (preferred).

Minimum of 1 year experience working with dementia and/or behavioral issue clients.

Experience using a Hoyer Lift required.

Ability to handle challenging behaviors with patience and professionalism.

Reliable, punctual, and able to work every other weekend as scheduled.

Must pass background check and provide professional references.
