Is scrubbed in and has equipment prior to patient arriving into the OR suite Verifying efficacy of equipment, operating, maintaining, verifying, and recording efficacy of equipment Determines and documents efficacy of equipment. Records reflect accurate description of operations, sterilization, and use of equipment Familiar with proper assembly, operation, and disassembly of all OR equipment and attends in-service on new equipment Attends in-service on new equipment, completes competency evaluation successful in operation and maintaining equipment used within the department This is not an all inclusive list of this job's responsibilities. Qualifications Required Associate in Surgical Technology Surgical Technologist certification (CST) Basic Life Support by start date (BLS, through American Heart Association only) 1 year experience as OR scrub
