Core Responsibilities of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA):

 

As a CNA, you are the backbone of our resident care.

  • Perform comprehensive Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, serving meals, assisting with feeding, ambulating, turning, positioning, and toileting, always prioritizing resident comfort and dignity.

  • Maintain impeccably clean and safe living conditions for residents, ensuring a hygienic and organized environment.

  • Accurately and thoroughly complete all required reports and records in a timely manner, documenting resident care and observations to ensure seamless communication within the care team.

  • Proactively observe and report any changes in residents' physical, mental, or emotional condition to the Unit Manager or Charge Nurse promptly.

  • Perform all duties in strict accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines, as well as facility policies, upholding the highest standards of care.

  • Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and specific exercises as directed by their care plans.

  • Other duties as assigned by Unit Manager, Director of Nursing, and Administrator.

 

Qualifications Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA):

 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as a vital part of a group.

  • Basic computer knowledge for charting and communication.

  • Previous long-term care experience is preferred, but we welcome all dedicated individuals.

License:

 

  • Must have an Active WI CNA Certified Nursing Assistant certification.

  • Compliance with all state Licensure/Certification/ Registration requirements.
