(RN) Cardiac Recovery Nurse Qualifications & Responsibilities:
Active New Jersey RN license in good standing
Experience in long-term care setting is preferred
Cardiac Unit Competency skills include but are not limited to: Cardiac assessment, knowledge of Milrinone pump and medication management, CHF-Congestive Heart Failure, Life Vest, TPN initiation and management.
This is a non-telemetry monitor cardiac unit
Manage surgical wounds and perform dressing treatments, as assigned per physician’s orders, in accordance with resident’s care plan and within scope of practice
Management of Infusion therapy
Administration of Inotropic Medications and all other medications as assigned per physician’s orders
Knowledge of the Milrinone Infusion Administration Process
BLS CPR
Basic EKG knowledge
Monitor and assess residents’ health, document changes, and communicate updates to the healthcare team
Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care while ensuring residents' physical and emotional well-being
Work collaboratively with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
Maintain compliance with all healthcare regulations at the local, state, and federal levels
Other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing or Administrator
(RN) Cardiac Recovery Nurse Schedule & Benefits:
Schedule – Full-time, 12-hour shifts, 7a-7p or 7p-7a
