Texas Health Physicians Group is excited to announce a Full Time RNFA Nurse Practitioner opportunity to work with a skilled, fellowship trained orthopedic spine surgeon dedicated to providing comprehensive care designed to promote healing. Primary focus is on orthopedic and spine care for active individuals and athletes of all ages. Take advantage of this opportunity to work as a team with a lot of physician support.

Position Details

  • Full Time Monday-Friday, hours flexible as driven by the OR schedule and need of patients
  • Surgical Assist with experienced orthopedic spine surgeon
  • See patients in the clinic
  • Plan treatment and document using EPIC EMR

Requirements Needed To Apply

  • Active Texas license
  • Strong Communication Skills
  • Graduate of accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • Ortho/Spine surgical experience preferred
  • First assist surgical experience required – RNFA Certification Required

The Nurse Practitioner (“NP”) Must be a graduate of an accredited Advanced Nursing Program and have a current RN license for the State of Texas.

Certified Advanced Nurse Practitioner in the State of Texas.

The NP will report to the supervising physician and/or the Medical Director and will be responsible for meeting CME requirements to maintain certification and licensure.

The NP’s duties and responsibilities apply to the THPG patient population and assigned setting only.
