Responsibilities & Essential Duties

 

As a CNA, you will be crucial in providing direct, hands-on care and support to our residents. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Direct Resident Care: Perform Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and assisting with meals and feeding.

  • Mobility Assistance: Safely assist residents with ambulating, turning, and positioning to ensure comfort and prevent skin breakdown.

  • Environmental Maintenance: Maintain clean, orderly, and comfortable living conditions for all residents.

  • Accurate Documentation: Ensure all necessary care reports and records are completed accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Compliance: Perform all duties in strict accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines, as well as facility policies.

  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively under the direction of the Unit Manager, Director of Nursing (DON), and Administrator to provide seamless care.

 

Qualifications

 

  • License: Must possess an Active Wisconsin Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing.

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Skills:

    • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as an effective part of a care team.

    • Basic computer knowledge for documentation purposes.

  • Experience: Previous long-term care experience is preferred but not required. We welcome dedicated individuals looking to start or continue their career!
