The Registered Nurse Assessment Coordinator RNAC position is responsible for the management of the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) Minimum Data Set (MDS) process including but not limited to ensuring the accurate, timely completion and electronic submission of the required data; auditing documentation to ensure accuracy of the data submitted; coordination of the Interdisciplinary Team for development and implementation of care plans based on data collected (Care Area Assessments) and submitted; assessment of residents' conditions to ensure proper documentation and Medicare/Medical Assistance benefit utilization.
